You will translate design concepts into semantic HTML, CSS and JavaScript, collaborate with clients and project managers, and ensure fast performance across devices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in web design and front-end development with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with responsive design frameworks and mobile-first design approaches.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop or similar software.
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices (WCAG compliance).
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Preferred: Experience with back-end technologies, content management systems such as WordPress, or JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Preferred: Experience with web performance optimisation and SEO principles.
