Wealth Advisory Director

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Overall brief: The investment advisory lead will manage a team that is tasked to support and deliver consulting-based products and services to the wealth relationship manager teams and clients.

The role involves providing investment advice to RMs and clients to meet their risk and investment performance needs, aiming to increase AXA's share of the client's portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide independent opinions on the quality of clients' existing portfolios.
  • Formulate investment strategies in line with AXA's views and cascade these to RMs.
  • Provide timely financial advice based on clients' objectives and needs.
  • Monitor financial markets and offer regular feedback to RMs and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and controls.
  • Collaborate with other divisions in the organization to enhance investment processes and product offerings for high-net-worth individuals and prepare proper proposition of products.
  • Strategically check ways to retain current portfolio of the division.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of Bachelor Degree / with Master’s Degree
  • At least 8-10 years work experience with a proven track record in an investment related role
  • Preferably with experience in investment advisory, Portfolio Management and Risk Management
  • Licensed in SEC Fixed Income/SEC Equity/CIS/TCP is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. power point/excel)
  • An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics and current investment trends.
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude & strong influential skills
  • Availability to travel as needed together with the relationship manager.
  • Interacts, Collaborates and works well with teams
