Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies seeks a PLC & SCADA Engineer to design, program, test, and commission PLC, HMI and SCADA systems for water treatment projects. You will integrate instrumentation, electrical systems, VFDs, analyzers and field devices to ensure reliable plant operation.

Responsibilities include developing PLC software, configuring SCADA/HMI, FAT/SAT, and providing accurate documentation. 3–8 years in industrial automation with water/wastewater exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in automation, electrical, electronics or instrumentation engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in industrial automation and at least 5 years in water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Design PLC control systems for water and wastewater plants.
• Develop PLC software per project specs and design documents.
• Design and configure SCADA/HMI for plant monitoring and control.
• Prepare control philosophies, I/O lists, and network architecture.
• Review electrical drawings, P&IDs and control panel drawings.
• Coordinate with instrumentation and electrical teams during installation and commissioning.
• Perform FAT/SAT and site commissioning; troubleshoot automation issues.
• Create functional reports and commissioning documentation.
