Job summary

You will collaborate with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate shipments and communicate with carriers. Experience with inventory control and warehouse safety is beneficial.

Key responsibilities
Loading and unloading: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks and other vehicles.
Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately according to customer specifications or invoices.
Inventory management: Receive, inspect, and process incoming stock; organize and label products; and maintain accurate inventory records through daily checks or cycle counts.
Warehouse operations: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials.
Safety and maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and perform regular inspections on warehouse equipment.
Record keeping: Keep accurate records of shipments and inventory levels.
Communication: Cooperate with supervisors and coworkers, and communicate with carriers or customers about shipping status.
Shipping coordination: Ensure shipments are dispatched on time and coordinate with transportation providers for timely pickups and deliveries.
