PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Under the general supervision of the Store Manager, responsible for receiving/issuing, monitoring and controlling stock movements within the Warehouse; encoding/updating the Merchandise Management System (MMS); and observing safety, security, and housekeeping measures; supervises all warehouse personnel.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Prepare/submit reports related to warehouse operations for Management use.
- Maintain the MMS thru encoding changes and updates on stocks; accounts for all documents pertaining to receiving, issuance, delivery, and other stock movements and ensures that lead times of these movements are maintained.
- Supervise and evaluate warehouse personnel by:
- checking personnel efficiency, giving points to performance, absences, and tardiness
- seeing to it that full and strict maintenance of discipline among warehouse personnel is observed.
- Supervise stock arrangements and sees to it that the stocks are properly organized and stacked in racks.
- Assist in the physical count/inventory.
- Responsible for the proper use and security of company properties under the custody of the Warehouse through:
- attending to the status of air-conditioning units, tag printer machines, emergency light units, other office equipment, etc.
- properly accounting for the use of materials and machines.
- Strictly implement all safety measures to protect merchandise inside the Warehouse.
- Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained by Stock Clerks.
- In the absence of a Treasury Assistant, act as custodian of petty cash fund and all other funds maintained by the branch.
- Perform other functions that may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree holder
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations
- Familiar with first-in-first out (FIFO), last-in-first-out (LIFO), and other warehouse systems Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Working knowledge of database software
