Job summary

VG SUPPLY CHAIN, INC. is seeking a warehouse picker to read and interpret order slips, locate items, verify accuracy, and prepare them for loading.

You will maintain records, assist in cycle counts, stock replenishment, and follow safety protocols. Keeping accurate inventory and using handheld scanners is integral to daily operations.

Attention to detail, basic understanding of warehouse processes, and the ability to work with picking equipment are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience in a warehouse or picking role.
• Knowledge of order picking and packing procedures.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to use handheld scanners and other picking equipment.

MAJOR:

1. Read and interpret order slips/picklist to determine items to be picked.

2. Locate and retrieve items from storage areas.

3. Ensure picked items match order specifications.

4. Prepare and label the items correctly for loading.

5. Maintain accurate records of picked orders.

6. Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment.

7. Follow safety protocols and warehouse procedures.

8. Assist in other warehouse activities as needed.

9. Conduct daily cycle count.

10. Support in ensuring that the Quality Management System requirements are being followed and complied.

MINOR:

11. Adhere to warehouse SOP and company policies.

12. Other task required by the immediate superior.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent

Years of Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience in a warehouse or picking role

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of order picking and packing procedures

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
