Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inventory checks and verify stock levels against WMS records.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and document findings accurately.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records to identify and resolve variances.
• Ensure proper storage and organisation of goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Generate inventory reports and prepare documentation for management review.
• Identify and report stock-related issues, including missing items, damaged goods, or misplaced inventory.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to implement process improvements and maintain efficient warehouse operations.

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management systems. As a Warehouse Checker, you will be responsible for verifying stock levels, inspecting goods for quality and damage, and ensuring that all warehouse records are accurate and up-to-date. Your attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of our distribution network and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inventory checks and verify stock levels against warehouse management system records

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification


• Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a focus on inventory management and stock checking


• Can operate forklift with NC2 certification


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing repetitive tasks


• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills


• Ability to read and interpret labels, barcodes, and inventory documentation


• Good numerical skills and the ability to count and record quantities accurately


• Physical capability to perform duties such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment


• Reliability and punctuality in attendance and task completion


• Knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse safety procedures is preferred
