Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation (URC) in the Philippines invites applications for a Warehouse Assistant to support receiving, warehousing, and releasing raw materials, packaging, and spare parts with adherence to safety, quality, and maintenance standards. You will help with deliveries, goods receipt, stock control, and site operations.

The role may involve local purchasing activities aligned with Corporate Procurement, and occasional travel to BO Warehouse to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a four-year degree; business/logistics related preferred.
• Experience not required; warehousing/delivery management exposure an advantage.
• Familiar with food-industry management systems (EHS, GMP, ISO 9001:2015, HACCP, HALAL, FSSC).
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Team-player with a customer-centric and innovative work attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receive, warehouse, and release raw materials, packaging, and spare parts per procedures.
• Conduct goods receipt, inventory check, and stockroom management; assist in deliveries.
• Support local purchasing aligned with Corporate Procurement when needed.
• Travel to BO Warehouse to support operations as required.

Universal Robina Corporation is looking for aWarehouse Assistant.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

Reporting under the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Assistant performs the efficient and effective reception, warehousing and/or releasing raw & packaging materials, factory supplies, and spare parts following implementation of applicable maintenance, quality, and occupational safety systems, anchored with business needs and objectives. The Warehouse Assistant conducts activities related to delivery management, goods receipt & acceptance, material warehousing & inventory check, stockroom management, and releasing to requesting departments, or any combination of such tasks. As in the case may be, the Warehouse Assistant can also cover local purchasing activities, as aligned with Corporate Procurement.

Additionally, the Warehouse Assistant may occasionally be required to travel BO Warehouse to support operational needs.

What are the Qualifications?

• Graduate of any four-year course, preferably Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or transport, warehousing & logistics-related fields; license and/or certification is an advantage;
• With or without experience, exposure in warehousing and delivery management field is an advantage;
• Familiarity in implementing relevant management systems in the food industry, including but not limited to EHS Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL and FSSC;
• With deep proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams, at minimum), and SAP; and
• Has a good team-player, customer-centric and innovative work attitude
