Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Aide to support our daily supply chain operations. You will be the primary point of contact for the physical movement of inventory, responsible for the accurate receiving, storage, and release of materials. The ideal candidate ensures that our inventory records are flawless while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspection: Accurately check in incoming shipments, verifying quantities against purchase orders and inspecting items for any damage.
- Inventory Management: Organize and store materials in designated locations to maximize space and efficiency. Assist with regular cycle counts and audits.
- Order Fulfillment: Promptly pick, pack, and label materials for release or shipment, ensuring all orders are complete and accurate.
- Documentation: Maintain digital and physical records for every transaction. Ensure all "ins and outs" are logged in the system immediately.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and free of hazards. Ensure all storage areas are tidy and aisles are clear.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Computer Literacy: Must be proficient in basic computer operations (data entry, email) and comfortable learning Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory software.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies in part numbers, quantities, or product quality.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items (typically up to 50 lbs) as required.
- Safety Conscious: Knowledge of basic warehouse safety protocols and the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
