Position Overview

Tebow CURE Nurse manages the care and recovery of the patients in collaboration with the medical team, who undergo Orthopedic and Reconstructive surgeries.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Restores and promotes patient’s health using the nursing process.
  • Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Provides physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends.
  • Identifies patient care requirements by establishing rapport with patients and their families.
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
  • Performs quality of care by adhering to the established plan of care and standards.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  • Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions.
  • Maintains patients’ records in confidentiality.
  • Adheres to infection control policies and protocols.
  • Administers medication observing the rights of medication.
  • Ensures that equipment is operational, and is responsible in calling for repairs and or preventive maintenance as the need arises.
  • Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine and monitor inventory levels.
  • Maintains an intentional relationship among health care teams by communicating information and participating in team problem-solving methods.
  • Performs admission assessment and ongoing, focused system assessment, including medical histories.
  • Participates in and leads in-service training and team unit meetings.
  • Cross-train on other nursing roles and duties and perform work in other areas within the Nursing Department, as necessary.
  • Perform Charge Nursing.
  • Ensure proper turnover of patients to the next shift Nurse on Duty.
Occupational Safety & Health
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency in line with hospital quality programs (e.g. Safecare, DOH, etc.) requirements.
  • Ensure a safe and secure work environment by strictly adhering to infection prevention and control protocols such as but not limited to handwashing, wearing of PPE, etc.
  • Identifying, reporting & self-managing hazards where appropriate.
  • Early and accurate reporting of incidents at work and raising issues of concern when identified.
  • Commit to sustainable and eco-friendly work practices by minimizing waste, optimizing resource usage, and actively participating in initiatives that promote environmental stewardship.

Education/Experience Requirements
  • Minimum Education : Bachelor Degree in Nursing
  • License/Certificate: License by the Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing, Philippines, BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • Minimum Experience Required: At least a 1-year experience as a Staff Nurse is an advantage but not required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Fluent in local dialects such as Bisaya and Tagalog.
  • Able to communicate well in English, verbal and written.
  • Able to develop and provide individual patient care according to the established plan of care and standards.
  • Ability to make independent nursing decisions that meet standards of practice and are in the best interests of the patient.
  • Able to evaluate a patient's response to teaching, and plan in order to determine the effectiveness of the plan.
  • Ability to identify and interpret early indicators of the crisis and intervene immediately.
