Job summary

Vishay is seeking a Sr. Wafer Planner to lead end-to-end wafer planning in a high-mix semiconductor environment at Binan, Laguna. Translate customer demand into executable wafer start plans and manage capacity constraints.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Quality to ensure on-time delivery, drive WIP health, and optimize cycle time. 7–10+ years in wafer or production planning with SAP/MES experience are required.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in semiconductor wafer planning, production planning, or supply planning.
• Deep knowledge of wafer fab processes, WIP flow, cycle time, and bottleneck behavior.
• Strong experience with SAP and MES systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Wafer Start & Supply Planning: Convert customer demand and forecasts into accurate monthly/weekly wafer start plans.
• Capacity & Constraint Management: Analyze fab capacity and identify bottlenecks; adjust load-balancing and routing as needed.
• WIP & Cycle-Time Governance: Monitor WIP distribution and drive actions to meet cycle-time targets.
• Customer Commit & Delivery Support: Confirm delivery schedule with fab WIP and coordinate with BP, foundry, and factory counterparts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in management reviews and support NPI ramps with planning inputs.
• Data, Systems, and Process Excellence: Maintain master data and lead digitalization/automation initiatives.

Siliconix Philippines, Inc. is currently seeking applicants for a Sr. Wafer Planner to lead end‑to‑end wafer planning for a high‑mix semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for translating customer demand into executable wafer start plans, managing factory constraints, driving WIP health and cycle‑time performance, and ensuring on‑time product delivery. The Sr Wafer Planner will serve as a technical authority in planning processes, capacity optimization, scenario modeling, and cross‑functional coordination.

What you will be doing:

• Wafer Start & Supply Planning
  Convert customer demand and forecasts into accurate monthly/weekly wafer start plans.
  Develop and maintain supply scenarios (baseline, pull‑in, recovery) for decision‑making.
  Apply yield, scrap, and cycle‑time assumptions to ensure realistic and executable plans.
• Capacity & Constraint Management
  Analyze fab capacity across critical tools and identify bottlenecks and risks.
  Recommend load‑balancing, alternate routing, and capacity adjustments as needed.
• WIP & Cycle‑Time Governance
  Monitor WIP distribution by technology/product and drive actions to maintain WIP health.
  Ensure alignment to cycle‑time targets and support initiatives to reduce CT variability.
  Lead recovery planning during tool‑down events or excursion impacts.
• Customer Commit & Delivery Support
  Provide accurate customer order confirmation by ensuring fab WIP comprehends up to date delivery schedule
  Work with BP, foundry and factory counterparts to meet delivery commitments.
  Communicate supply risks, commit changes, and mitigation plans.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  Participate in management review cycles and contribute supply, capacity, and output projections.
  Support new product introduction (NPI) ramps through coordinated wafer start planning.
  Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Quality on planning issues.
• Data, Systems, and Process Excellence
  Maintain critical planning master data (lead times, yields, lot sizes, capacity calendars).
  Lead or support digitalization and automation initiatives to improve planning efficiency.

What you will bring along:
