Job summary

Vertiv in Manila is seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst II to support the corporate-wide IT Vulnerability Management Program. You will understand end-to-end vulnerabilities, determine cause and impact, and identify corrective actions with asset owners.

The Senior Analyst will be the SME for vulnerability analysis, mentor other analysts, and help triage data from multiple sources, prioritizing by severity and risk to reduce the enterprise attack surface.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT Operations, Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, or Incident Response.
• Demonstrates ability to balance strategic and tactical activities to manage vulnerability response and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert for vulnerability analysis within the team.
• Mentor other analysts and share knowledge with the team.
• Discover assets, scan them for vulnerabilities, and remediate based on criticality.
• Triage vulnerability data from multiple sources and prioritize by severity, exploitability, risk, and impact.
• Collaborate with application and technology teams to implement security solutions and remediation actions.
• Provide support and resolution for scanning and remediation reporting issues.
• Communicate risks and remediation recommendations to asset owners and leadership.
• Assist in improving vulnerability management lifecycle including data ingestion, normalization, and metrics.
