Job summary

E4 Software Services Pvt Ltd. is seeking an experienced Database Engineer to administer and support enterprise data platforms. You will install, configure, upgrade, and patch databases, tune performance, and design HA/DR solutions while driving cloud migrations and automation.

You will work with engineering to optimize architecture, support data ingestion and ETL/ELT processes, and maintain runbooks and documentation for reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Database Engineering/DBA/DevOps.
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server or SAP HANA.
• Proficient in performance tuning and monitoring.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, HA and DR.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong SQL knowledge; scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash.
• Knowledge of IaC using Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
• Production database support and incident management.

Responsibilities
