Realm Security, Inc. seeks a VP of Finance to build the financial infrastructure needed for growth. Reporting to the CEO, this leader will own FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while partnering with the executive team and board on strategic decisions.

This is a hands-on finance leader role in a high-growth SaaS environment, collaborating with the exec team to drive profitability and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant time in SaaS; cybersecurity or broader security software experience strongly preferred
• Strong FP&A background is required — hands-on experience owning budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling in a high-growth SaaS environment
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Boston, MA area; this role requires an on-site/hybrid presence
• Proven experience partnering directly with executive leadership, boards, and investors
• Deep fluency in SaaS metrics and unit economics
• Track record of scaling a finance function and building a team
• Experience managing QuickBooks Online (QBO) as well as ability to lead migration toward mid-market ERP as company scales
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA a plus

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the FP&A function including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning
• Build and maintain financial models to track ARR, CAC, LTV, net revenue retention, burn rate, and rule of 40
• Partner with CEO and exec team on fundraising, board reporting, and strategic planning
• Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with department heads to track spend against budget
• Oversee cash flow management, runway planning, and capital efficiency
• Partner with Sales and RevOps on pricing, deal structuring, and revenue forecasting
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting to the board and investors
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and outside financial partners
• Build and develop a high-performing finance team as the company scales

Role Overview

Realm Security is seeking a VP of Finance to build and lead the financial infrastructure supporting our next stage of growth. Reporting to the CEO, this leader will own financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while partnering closely with the executive team and board on strategic decision-making.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced finance leader who thrives in a high-growth SaaS environment.
