Qualifications

• 6–10 years of credit authority experience in commercial lending or SME lending.
• Advanced ability to analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry dynamics.
• Strong grounding in accounting principles and credit underwriting practices.
• Proven ability to prepare comprehensive credit memos with risk and decision rationale.
• Excellent organizational skills for multiple time-sensitive assessments.
• Proficient in Excel and financial modeling for risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end credit underwriting for commercial lending requests.
• Produce detailed credit memos and analyses supporting credit decisions.
• Analyze financial statements, ratios, and spreads for complex structures.
• Assess repayment capacity of individuals, guarantors, and borrowers.
• Perform industry and market due diligence to inform risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Citi credit policies and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior credit officers and contribute to process improvements.
