Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Voice Recording Specialist (AI Training) to contribute high-quality voice samples for training AI speech systems. This fully remote hourly contract offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to influence how AI speaks and understands language.

You’ll record scripted and prompted readings, maintain quiet recording conditions, and complete metadata for each clip, working asynchronously on your own schedule.

Voice Recording Specialist (AI Training)

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a clear speaking voice and a quiet space to record. No voice acting experience, no studio equipment, and no technical background required — just your voice and a commitment to quality.

What You'll Do

• Record clear, natural voice samples by reading provided scripts and responding to prompts
• Vary your tone, pacing, and delivery style as directed to capture a range of speech patterns
• Ensure recordings are clean, consistent, and free of background noise
• Participate in both scripted reading sessions and natural conversational recordings
• Complete metadata forms that describe and categorize each recording
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Clear, natural speaking voice in any accent or dialect — all voices welcome
• Access to a quiet recording environment with minimal background noise
• A microphone, headset, or smartphone capable of capturing clean audio
• Comfortable reading aloud and being recorded
• Reliable and self-motivated when working independently
• No voice acting, audio production, or AI experience required
