Job Description
The Visual Display Specialist is responsible for maintaining and implementing Our Home’s visual display standards across store locations. By combining creative styling with strong business acumen, this role turns high-traffic store zones into compelling product showcases that drive customer engagement and maximize sales potential. The ideal candidate serves as a crucial bridge between Merchandising (what to sell) and Operations (what has been sold), ensuring consistent brand presentation and innovative merchandise placement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Hotspot Management: Execute and style merchandise presentations across all key store zones, including Entrance Settings, Window Settings, Lifestyle Settings, Room Settings, Vignettes, Promotional Areas, and Mass Displays.
- Brand Manual & Staging Compliance: Implement display layouts according to the display manual and stage scenes using appropriate accessories and POSM (Point of Sale Materials).
- Consistency & Maintenance: Regularly monitor, update, and maintain display quality across all assigned store branches to guarantee 100% alignment with brand equity and corporate direction.
2. Commercial & Business Alignment
- Sales Optimization: Analyze merchandise categories, sub-categories, and high-performing SKUs to spot creative opportunities that push inventory and increase sell-through.
- Merchandising & Operations Alignment: Collaborate with Merchandising to understand product priorities and coordinate with Store Operations to track inventory movement and sales performance.
- Process Improvement: Participate in planning, post-display analysis, and strategy discussions to optimize product presentation and bring fresh industry landscape insights to the business.
3. Store Operations & Team Training
- Cross-Functional Communication: Disseminate display manual standards and clearly communicate setup directions to Store Managers, Supervisors, Sales Associates, and Sales Promodisers to ensure seamless implementation.
- Visual Education: Educate store teams on the core principles and strategic rationale behind hotspot product placements to foster a visual-first mindset on the floor.
- Marketing & Event Support: Coordinate and set up in-store visual displays for marketing events, seasonal campaigns, and special promotions.
4. Problem Solving & Innovation
- Autonomous Execution: Operate effectively with minimal supervision, taking ownership of the full display lifecycle from planning to execution.
