Job summary

SM Supermalls seeks a Visual Display Officer - Graphics to join our in-house design team, delivering graphic design for print, display, and production that honors our branding.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or related field, at least 2 years’ experience, advanced Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills, and knowledge of 3D tools like SketchUp or Blender; After Effects is a plus. Work location: Head Office - PHQ, MOA Square, Pasay City.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge in 3D software such as SketchUp or Blender; After Effects is a plus.

Job description

The Visual Display Officer - Graphics is a member of an in-house design team that is in charge of providing graphic design and general design needs for print, display, and production.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Concept and Design Development

• Create mall design solutions that have a great visual impact while adhering to the company's standards and branding
• Research and stay updated with the latest design and color trends to enhance creative designs
• Fulfill any design revisions (size, layout and etc.) based on feedback in a quick turnaround time

Project Management

• Recommend concepts by studying relevant information and materials while adhering to the design brief
• Prepare artwork for printing or production operating necessary software and equipment such as Adobe Illustrator (Main) and Adobe Photoshop
• Provide a design guide including digital mockups or sample applications for vendor/suppliers for production, as well as for colleagues for correct setup and implementation
• Give feedback to external printers and production teams regarding print and color quality, product sampling, and material specifications

Administrative Functions

• Prepare daily productivity reports
• Manage and prioritize assigned projects efficiently within deadlines
• Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work on time

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or any other related field
• With at least 2 years minimum related work experience with a good portfolio showcasing skills in design
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (advanced)
• Knowledge in 3D software such as SketchUp or Blender and Adobe After Effects is a plus

WORK LOCATION

• Candidates must be willing to be assigned in the Head Office - PHQ, MOA Square, Pasay City.
