Get Caya is seeking a detail-oriented Video Podcast Editor to support the production of high-quality podcast content. You’ll edit full-length video podcast episodes, create engaging short-form clips, and ensure every deliverable meets established quality standards and deadlines.

This role is ideal for someone with strong podcast editing experience who takes pride in producing polished, accurate, and engaging content, collaborating closely with producers and other members of the production team.

Responsibilities

• Format content for vertical, square, and landscape platforms.
• Add captions, branding, motion graphics, and basic animation as needed.

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Video Podcast Editor to support the production of high-quality podcast content.

You’ll edit full-length video podcast episodes, create engaging short-form clips, and ensure every deliverable meets established quality standards and deadlines. This role is ideal for someone with strong podcast editing experience who takes pride in producing polished, accurate, and engaging content.

What You’ll Do

• Edit full-length video podcast episodes using video, audio, graphics, music, and branding assets
• Add intros, outros, titles, captions, sponsor segments, and other required elements
• Create engaging short-form clips for social media and marketing
• Identify strong, shareable moments from long-form podcast episodes
• Format content for vertical, square, and landscape platforms
• Add captions, branding, motion graphics, and basic animation as needed
• Review all edits for timing, transitions, graphics, captions, and audio quality before submission
• Implement revisions accurately based on feedback
• Organize project files, maintain version control, and follow established naming conventions
• Track project progress, meet production deadlines, and provide regular status updates
• Collaborate with producers and other members of the production team

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of professional video editing experience
• Proven experience editing long-form video podcast content
• Experience creating short-form videos for social media
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to follow established workflows and incorporate feedback accurately
• Experience editing interview-style or multi-camera podcasts is preferred
• Experience with motion graphics and basic animation is a plus
• Familiarity with YouTube and social media content optimization is preferred
• Experience working with U.S.-based clients or production teams is a plus
