We are looking for a Video Editor who can edit full podcast episodes and transform them into engaging short‑form clips for social media. This role requires speed, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a structured system designed for consistency.

The role will primarily support Loophaus projects, with occasional support for Studio Kamusta social media and client work.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut and clean long‑form footage by removing dead air, mistakes, and unnecessary sections
• Sync audio and video properly and maintain clean timelines
• Export full episodes in required formats
• Select engaging highlights and key moments from full episodes
• Add subtitles, basic motion graphics, and platform formatting (9:16)

Studio Kamusta (Secondary Support)

• Assist in editing social media and client video content as assigned
• Follow creative direction, references, and brand guidelines
• Implement revisions based on client and internal feedback

General

• Follow editing templates, workflows, and internal systems
• Organize project files and maintain a clean editing structure
• Implement revisions efficiently and within agreed timelines

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate experience in video editing
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar software)
• Understanding of both long‑form and short‑form content formats
• Ability to follow structured workflows and meet deadlines

Output Expectations

• Full Episodes: Focus on clean cuts, proper audio sync, and removal of dead air
• Short‑Form Clips: Select strong, engaging moments from the full episode; maintain clean subtitles, strong pacing, and platform‑ready formatting; 24–48 hours from assignment
• Full episodes: based on agreed project timelines
• Revisions: Implement revisions within the same day or next working day
• Consistency: Maintain consistent quality across all outputs following Loophaus templates and guidelines

Priority

• Loophaus deliverables will be prioritized, with Studio Kamusta tasks assigned based on workload and scheduling

Nice to Have

• Experience editing podcasts or interviews
• Basic audio cleanup knowledge (levels, noise reduction)
• Familiarity with multi‑cam editing
• Basic After Effects or motion graphics

Performance Expectations

• Clean, watchable full podcast edits with minimal errors
• Consistent delivery within 24–48 hour timelines (for clips)
• Ability to produce multiple short‑form videos per episode (with AI help)
• Improvement in speed and quality over time

Compensation
