About the role

Summer Technic Corp. is seeking a talented Video Editor to join our dynamic creative team. This is an exciting opportunity designed specifically for fresh graduates who are passionate about video production and editing. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in bringing our visual stories to life, working across various media projects that showcase innovation and creativity. This is a full-time position based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. Key responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, engaging final products for various media formats and platforms
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers and content teams to understand project requirements and deliver work that aligns with creative vision
• Apply colour grading, visual effects, transitions and audio synchronisation to enhance video quality and storytelling
• Manage video assets, maintain organised file structures and ensure all project materials are properly archived
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and implement revisions to meet project specifications and deadlines
• Stay current with video editing trends, techniques and software developments to continuously improve your craft
• Assist in conceptualising creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh perspectives to project development
• Support the production team with basic motion graphics and animation where required

What we're looking for

• Recent graduate or fresh graduate with a degree in Media Studies, Film, Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, colour theory and audio principles
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work methodically on multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated creativity and a keen eye for visual storytelling
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams whilst taking constructive feedback professionally
• Strong time management and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with motion graphics software such as After Effects is advantageous but not essential
• A passion for visual media and a genuine enthusiasm for learning and professional development
• Excellent communication skills in English; Filipino language proficiency is beneficial
