Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Film, Media, Video Production, Communications or related.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of editing techniques, pacing and colour grading.
• Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects.
• Creative mindset with visual storytelling skills.
• Good organizational and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with audio editing and basic graphic design is advantageous.

About the role

Summer Technic Corp. is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor Intern to join our dynamic team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time internship position where you will work hands-on with professional video editing software and contribute to the creation of compelling visual content for our diverse range of projects. As a Video Editor Intern, you will support our editing team in producing high-quality videos whilst developing your skills in a fast-paced, creative environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the media and publishing industry and to build a foundation for a career in video production and editing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in editing raw video footage using industry-standard editing software to create polished final products

• Organise and manage video assets, including footage, audio files, graphics and visual effects

• Support the senior editing team in colour correction, sound mixing and visual effects implementation

• Incorporate feedback from supervisors and creative directors to refine and improve video content

• Maintain detailed records of project timelines, versions and asset libraries

• Contribute creative ideas and suggestions for video enhancements and visual storytelling techniques

• Assist in preparing video content for various platforms and formats as required

• Collaborate with other team members including producers, designers and content creators

What we’re looking for

• Currently studying or recently graduated with a qualification in Film, Media, Video Production, Communications or a related discipline

• Proficiency in at least one professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

• Strong understanding of video editing techniques, pacing, transitions and colour grading principles

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision on multiple projects simultaneously

• Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling and composition

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage digital assets effectively

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Familiarity with audio editing software and basic graphic design is advantageous

• Passion for video content and commitment to producing high-quality work
