Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Media247 Digital. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, editing video content for various digital platforms, and ensuring a cohesive narrative and visual style. Daily tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, syncing audio, integrating motion graphics and titles, and applying color correction and grading. The role also involves collaborating with creative and marketing teams, interpreting briefs, organizing project files, and meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent projects. The Video Editor is expected to maintain brand standards, optimize content for different formats, and proactively suggest improvements to visual storytelling and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for a range of digital formats and platforms.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with an eye for consistent tone, contrast, and visual mood.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and brand identity.
• Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Solid understanding of audio editing, basic sound design, and optimizing video for social media and web distribution.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with creative, marketing, or client teams.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is also valued.
