Private Advertiser seeks an experienced Senior Video Editor to join a remote team and deliver high-end corporate and branded content. You will shape polished edits with strong pacing, music, B-roll and editorial judgement for global brands.
Your portfolio should demonstrate narrative structure, creative editing, visual polish and professional finishing, across documentary, interview-led or commercial work. Strong autonomy is required.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Video Editor with a strong track record of producing high-end corporate and branded video content.
This role is suited to an editor with excellent creative judgement, strong storytelling instincts and the ability to independently shape polished, professional edits suitable for global brands and high-profile organisations. We are looking for someone who understands flow, pacing, music, B-roll selection, sound design and visual storytelling, and who can take ownership of an edit rather than relying on detailed creative direction at every stage.
We are specifically looking for experienced professional editors. This is not an entry-level role, and we will not be considering applications without a relevant portfolio.
Your portfolio should demonstrate high-end editing work, ideally across corporate, branded, documentary, interview-led or commercial content. We expect to see strong examples of narrative structure, creative editing, visual polish and professional finishing.
If your portfolio consists mainly of event coverage or social media edits, please do not apply, as your application will not be considered. We are looking specifically for editors with experience creating polished, high-end narrative and branded work.
Our recruitment process includes an initial interview followed by a paid test edit for shortlisted candidates. This allows us to assess both technical ability and, importantly, your editorial judgement, creativity and approach to storytelling.
If the platform allows, please upload a dedicated PDF with a short introduction about yourself and links to the work you feel is most relevant to this role. We are not particularly interested in your education or a long employment history. What matters to us is the quality of your work, your creative judgement and the way you think as an editor.
We are looking for a creative superstar to join our team and help us elevate our internal editing capacity, bringing fresh ideas, strong instincts and consistently high-end execution across our projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Edit a wide range of video content, including interviews, case studies, documentaries, explainers, event films and social-first content.
Produce high-end edits with strong flow, creativity and visual polish, suitable for global brands and high-profile organisations.
Take ownership of edits from initial brief through to final delivery, making strong independent decisions on structure, pacing, music, B-roll and overall storytelling.
Review all available footage carefully and select the strongest shots, soundbites and supporting visuals without requiring detailed direction.
Build compelling narratives from interviews and raw footage, identifying the clearest story and strongest moments.
Translate creative briefs, scripts and client objectives into polished first cuts that require refinement rather than fundamental restructuring.
Maintain a consistently high standard across picture, audio, colour, graphics, captions and overall finishing.
Bring creative ideas to each project, using editing choices, transitions, sound design, music and visual rhythm to elevate the final piece.
Adapt edits for different formats and platforms, including long-form, short-form and social cutdowns.
Incorporate feedback efficiently and accurately while maintaining strong creative judgement and consistency across revisions.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines, keeping edits organised and progressing without constant supervision.
Work closely with producers, directors and the wider creative team while confidently contributing ideas and challenging weak creative choices.
Organise project files, footage, assets and exports to a professional standard.
Stay up to date with high-end commercial editing styles, social formats and visual storytelling trends.
Technical and working requirements:
You must have your own computer capable of comfortably handling professional 4K editing workflows.
You must have a fast and reliable internet connection capable of regularly uploading and downloading large amounts of video footage and project data.
You must have sufficient local storage capacity to manage active editing projects and large media files.
For anyone joining us on a full-time basis, we will provide or purchase any additional storage required for the role.
Your editing setup should allow you to work reliably and efficiently without hardware limitations becoming a bottleneck in day-to-day production.
You must speak and communicate in English fluently, both written and spoken.
Although this is a remote role, we want you to become a genuine member of the team, communicate regularly, contribute ideas, collaborate closely and build strong working relationships with the wider company.
