Job summary

SoCreative is rebuilding creative production with an AI-powered platform and global creator network. We seek a Video Editor who owns the edit from brief to delivery, collaborates with a PM and Content Lead, and ensures on-brand, timely cuts for global brands.

You will work remotely with overlap hours, bringing ideas to accelerate workflows and raise quality across fast-moving projects in tech, finance and education sectors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years editing branded or corporate video.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects a plus.
• Strong sense of story, pacing, sound and music.
• Hands-on with creative AI tools (Higgsfield, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Claude).

Responsibilities

• Edit video for global brands across social content, testimonials, event recaps and internal comms.
• Transform briefs and feedback into polished cuts on time and on brand.
• Upload every cut by its due date for review before delivery.
• Post daily progress updates and flag risks early.
• Keep project files organized in shared folders for easy handoffs.
• Leverage AI tools to speed up rough cuts, captions, transcripts and versioning.
• Contribute ideas to team huddles to improve templates or AI workflows.

SoCreative is rebuilding creative production. Our AI-powered platform, global creator network and dedicated creative team work as one system, so marketing, comms and learning teams get video, photo and design in days, not weeks.

We work with brands like Microsoft, TikTok, American Express, EY, Alibaba, Toyota and Qantas. We have vetted creators in 100+ cities, most projects go from brief to delivery in 48 hours, and our customers give us a 90+ NPS.

The role

As a Video Editor at SoCreative, you'll own the edit from brief to final delivery. You'll work in a dedicated team with a project manager, a Content Lead and fellow creatives, and be accountable for cuts that land on time and on brand.

What you'll be doing

• Edit video for global brands, from social content and testimonials to event recaps, explainers and internal comms.
• Turn briefs and customer feedback into polished cuts, on time and within the agreed versions.
• Upload every cut by its internal due date, so there's time for review before it reaches the customer.
• Post a short progress update on each project at the end of every day, and flag anything at risk early.
• Keep project files organized in the right shared folders, so anyone on the team can pick up where you left off.
• Use AI tools to speed up rough cuts, captions, transcripts and versioning, so more of your time goes into the edit itself.
• Bring ideas to team huddles that improve how we work, from new templates to new AI workflows.

Who you are

• 3+ years editing professionally, with a portfolio of branded or corporate work.
• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effects is a plus.
• A strong sense of story, pacing, sound and music.
• Hands-on with creative AI tools such as Higgsfield, Midjourney, ChatGPT and Claude, including Claude skills.
• You hold your work to a high standard before anyone else checks it.
• You keep improving. You take feedback well, learn fast and make each version better than the last.
• You do your best work in a fast-moving team with tight turnarounds.
• You're curious about AI and already use it to work faster or raise the quality of your work.
• You write and speak clear, confident English.
