Our client is a UK-based professional services and accountancy firm known for its modern, entrepreneurial approach to traditionally conservative accounting services. It is recognized as a top 20 UK accounting firm, offering audit, tax, advisory, deals, and wealth management services to ambitious mid-market businesses across the UK.

The Role

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to transform raw footage into polished, engaging, and brand-aligned video content for social media, websites, and YouTube. Working with footage, timestamps, and creative briefs provided by the team, you will edit event highlights, technical interviews, and multi-person discussions into compelling video productions. The role also involves incorporating branding elements, on-screen text, and calls to action to ensure each video aligns with the company's messaging and engages its target audience.

What You'll Do

• We’ll provide the raw video footage - this could be event footage, interviews, multiple people soundbytes, - whole array of video footage.
• We’ll provide guidance on time stamps and a full brief on what we want the final production to be along with key audiences and the platforms we will use them on.
• We require the editing of the video and finished productions for us to share on multiple platforms - social media, website, YouTube.
• We will also require some CP branding elements incorporating into some of the videos, i.e. still messages to be incorporated and call to actions at the end.
• In terms of volumes we are looking to increase our video formats, but I would estimate the following:
• 20 × 60 sec event videos including 3 × 20 sec sound bytes for social media
• 30 × 2 min technical interviews (fireside chats with one or two people)
• 10 × 60 sec multi-people/multi-topic videos

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in video editing and post-production for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and YouTube.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Ability to edit different types of content, including event highlights, interviews, soundbites, and multi-person discussions.
• Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to create engaging and cohesive videos from raw footage.
• Experience incorporating branding elements, on-screen text, captions, graphics, and calls to action into video content.
• Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements for content distribution.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality editing, consistent branding, and clear audio and visuals.
• Ability to follow creative briefs, timestamps, and production guidelines while applying sound editorial judgment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio or samples of previous video editing work demonstrating versatility and quality.
