Citi Finance is seeking a Vice President, Regulatory Reporting Analyst based in Taguig, BGC, Metro Manila. You will support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to local regulators and U.S. authorities, collaborating with Finance, Risk and Audit to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

This role offers exposure to global regulatory frameworks, opportunities to influence control environments, and the chance to drive process improvements within a leading global bank.

Qualifications

  • 6-10+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting.
  • Intermediate knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports such as FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, Call Report, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15 and related Basel III/GAAP/SEC.Reporting.
  • Able to navigate a large organization to streamline information and create repeatable processes.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with ability to synthesize complex concepts and influence change.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills to identify conflicts and drive resolutions.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production, review and timely submission of regulatory filings and reports to U.S. regulators.
  • Monitor and manage key metrics associated with reports and mitigate risks of inaccurate reporting.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency and transparency of the regulatory reporting process.
  • Provide support during regulatory inquiries and examinations with accurate information and analysis.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Audit to provide updates on regulatory developments.
  • Work with peers on implementing U.S. regulatory changes within the reporting framework.
  • Collaborate with Risk & Controls to maintain an effective internal control environment.
  • Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citi’s reputation and assets.

Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls. We manage and partner on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations. The team comprises chief financial officers who partner with each of our businesses and disciplines including controllers, financial planning and analysis, strategy, investor relations, tax and treasury.

We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Regulatory Reporting Analyst based in Taguig, BGC, Metro Manila. The Regulatory Reporting role is an intermediate level position within the Controllers Organization that will report up through the Global Head of Regulatory and Capital Reporting. The individual will support the preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to various constituencies (local regulators, U.S. Federal Reserve, OCC, etc.) based on applicable requirements such as U.S. Regulatory and local regulatory reporting rules and instructions. The position will have a high level of visibility within the organization with opportunities to work directlywith other Finance and non-Finance functions throughout Citi, including the Businesses, Risk, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as Enterprise Technology, & Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the production, review and timely submission of regulatory filings and reports to U.S. regulators including reports such as FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, Call Report, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15 and others.

  • Monitor and manage key metrics associated with reports to identify challenges and issues. Support implementation of processes and controls to mitigate the risk of inaccurate reporting. Collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies.

  • Support the team to drive process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of the regulatory reporting process.

  • Provide support for the team during regulatory inquiries and examinations, providing accurate information and analysis to support regulatory reviews.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across the firm, including Risk, Finance, Audit to provide updates on regulatory developments and impact assessments.

  • Work with peers and program leaders on the implementation of U.S. regulatory changes within the reporting framework.

  • Partner with Risk & Controls team to maintain and enhance an effective internal control’s structure.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications
  • 6-10+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting.

  • Intermediate knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports such as those mentioned above along with exposure to Basel III capital regulations, GAAP/SEC Reporting and stress testing frameworks like CCAR.

  • Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points and create repeatable processes to build consistency in presenting information.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and influence change.

  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and bring together the right team to solution them.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team.

Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
