The Vice President of Information Technology (VP - IT) provides strategic leadership, planning, and oversight for the resort’s technology infrastructure, systems, and digital transformation. This role is responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business goals, ensuring the seamless operation of all IT services, and driving innovation to enhance guest experience, operational efficiency, and data security.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develop and execute a forward-looking IT strategy aligned with the resort’s overall business objectives.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across hospitality, gaming, and retail operations.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to assess technology needs and recommend scalable solutions.
Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services, data centers, and cybersecurity systems.
- Ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical systems (e.g., PMS, POS, Casino Management Systems, ERP, CRM).
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies to safeguard data and protect against threats.
- Ensure compliance with local and international data protection laws and gaming regulations (e.g., PAGCOR, PCI-DSS, ISO standards).
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a high-performing IT team covering support, development, infrastructure, and security functions.
- Promote continuous training and development of the team to stay ahead of technological advancements.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Oversee IT procurement and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and manage the IT department’s annual budget and resource allocation.
Project Management
- Lead the successful delivery of enterprise-level projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and new property IT setups.
- Utilize best practices in project management to ensure timeliness, scope, and budget adherence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- At least 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in the hospitality, casino, or integrated resort industry.
- Proven experience in managing complex IT environments, including hospitality systems (Opera, Micros), casino systems (CMS, slot systems), and enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy laws, and IT risk management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
