Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a detail-oriented Vendor Management Program Manager to lead third‑party risk oversight, partner governance, and risk assessment, ensuring regulatory alignment and security across vendor relationships.

You will drive due diligence, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with Legal and Information Security, while leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and decision quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of vendor risk management or third‑party compliance experience.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GLBA, and BSA/AML.
• Proven track record of managing vendor assessments and audit-readiness for banks/regulators.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or equivalent.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, research, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain third‑party risk standards and governance practices with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct comprehensive vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring, including privacy and data protection considerations.
• Manage vendor risk documentation and reporting, including inventories and periodic reviews.
• Assess vendor criticality and inherent risks across categories like PII, BSA/AML, and credit decisioning.
• Collaborate with Legal for contracts and with Information Security for safeguards.
• Identify, track, and escalate risk events or performance issues to senior leadership and banking partners.
