Job summary

Hire Virtual Team (HVT) Global Solutions is seeking a seasoned healthcare financial analyst in Taguig/Metro Manila. The role concentrates on reimbursement analysis, payer benchmarking, and revenue forecasting to guide strategic decisions.

You will work with finance and managed care leaders, applying data from SQL, Power BI, and ERP systems to develop actionable insights. The position supports hybrid work with US-hour schedules and a focus on financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, data analytics, health administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare financial analysis, managed care analytics, payer reimbursement or medical economics.
• Experience with payer reimbursement methods (DRG, APC, fee schedules, value-based models).
• Proven skills in financial modeling, forecasting and scenario analysis to support decisions.
• Proficient with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Epic, Strata or EPSi. Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver reimbursement analyses using large datasets to identify trends and risks.
• Develop payer parity and benchmarking analyses using internal and external data.
• Lead monthly revenue trend analysis and highlight drivers, risks, and opportunities for leadership.
• Develop intramonth and forward-looking revenue forecasts with stakeholders.
• Analyze service lines and payer performance; translate findings into strategic insights.
• Define analytical assumptions for contract modeling, forecasting, and evaluation.
• Design and enhance contract modeling tools (rate escalators, carve-outs, incentives).
• Partner with Managed Care and Finance to support payer negotiations via scenario analysis.
• Present findings and recommendations to finance, strategy, and leadership in clear formats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver expected-vs-actual reimbursement analyses, integrating large financial and claims datasets to identify trends, variances, and financial risk.
• Develop and maintain payer parity and benchmarking analyses, leveraging internal performance data and external market intelligence.
• Lead monthly gross and net revenue trend analysis, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities and escalating insights to leadership.
• Develop and refine intramonth and forward-looking revenue forecasts, partnering with stakeholders to improve accuracy and reliability.
• Analyze service line and payer-specific financial performance, translating findings into actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
• Define and validate analytical assumptions and methodologies used in contract modeling, forecasting, and performance evaluation.
• Design and enhance contract modeling tools, including rate escalators, carve-outs, quality incentives, and value-based payment components.
• Partner with Managed Care and Finance leadership to support payer negotiations through scenario modeling, financial impact analysis, and risk assessment.
• Present complex analytical findings and recommendations to finance, strategy, and managed care leaders in a clear, executive-ready format.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Health Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare financial analysis, managed care analytics, payer reimbursement, or medical economics.
• Demonstrated experience with payer reimbursement methodologies, such as DRG, APC, fee schedules, and value-based models.
• Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
• Experience with analytical and financial systems such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Epic, Strata, or EPSi.
• A master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Relevant certifications, such as CHFP or CPHQ, are an advantage.
• Prior revenue cycle or payer-facing experience is preferred.
