Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Valuations Manager in the Philippines to lead and deliver sophisticated valuation engagements. You will oversee risk, quality control, and client interactions while mentoring staff and ensuring profitable project delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 6–8 years in business valuation, deep modeling expertise (DCF, comps, intangibles), and strong communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in business valuation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proven experience managing valuation projects related to transactions and financial reporting.
• Deep technical expertise in valuation modeling (DCF, comparable company, intangible asset, and option pricing).

Responsibilities

• Appropriately manage risk and ensure quality control procedures are being executed
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modeling, DCF analysis, and comparative market analysis
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking with potential clients, preparing proposals, and participating in business development activities
• Demonstrate technical knowledge effectively through written and verbal communication
• Provide strategic insights to clients by evaluating financial risks and opportunities
• Manage valuation consulting engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring successful project delivery
• Mentor and train new staff in areas of expertise and responsibility
• Oversee the financial aspects of valuation engagements, including budgeting, billing, and collections
• Oversee development and execution of complex valuation models, including DCF, market comparables, and scenario analysis
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of valuation reports, presentations, and documentation with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in use of advanced Excel modeling and finance-related software

• Recognize needs and issues pertinent to client activity and demonstrates ownership of engagement’s day-to-day tasks and activities
• Demonstrate knowledge of all technical aspects of the job, including related knowledge of necessary systems and procedures
• Oversee the development and execution of complex valuation models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), market comparables, and scenario analysis
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of valuation reports, presentations, and documentation with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in use of all technology necessary to performance execution, including advanced Excel modeling and common finance-related software

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in business valuation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Proven experience managing valuation projects related to transactions, financial reporting (e.g., purchase price allocations, impairment testing, equity-based compensation, complex securities), ESOPs, or estate & gift planning.
• Deep technical expertise in valuation modeling, including DCF, comparable company, intangible asset, and option pricing models.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex valuation concepts clearly and effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with databases such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire a team of valuation professionals.
