Overview

The Utility Worker is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of the boarding house premises. This role includes performing routine cleaning, light maintenance tasks, and assisting with the general upkeep of the building and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize common areas, including hallways, restrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and laundry facilities. Ensure that rooms are properly cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Trash and Recycling: Manage trash disposal and recycling, ensuring that bins are emptied regularly and disposed of according to facility guidelines.
• Facility Upkeep: Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, repairing minor plumbing issues, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
• Assisting with Resident Needs: Respond to residents' requests for maintenance or cleaning services in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications
