Job summary

Remote People Ltd. is seeking a full-time tax/accounting professional to work remotely from the Philippines for a US client. You will prepare federal returns (1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120) and review balance sheets, ledgers, and P&Ls, delivering accurate financial statements.

You will use Excel, QuickBooks, and cloud tools, collaborating with a global team. The role requires English communication, integrity, and a drive to learn and grow within a supportive remote culture.

The Role

You'll join our team full-time and remote from the Philippines, working directly with US client, and its staff. Expect a mix of tax preparation, accounting engagements, and real client problem-solving.

Remote doesn't mean alone. We hold regular virtual meetings for training, collaboration, and staying connected, so you're part of the team from day one.

What You'll Do

• Prepare federal income tax returns: Forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, and 1120

• Support bookkeeping and accounting projects in QuickBooks

Position Details

Schedule: 40 hours/week, U.S. Eastern Time business hours

Busy Season: January 1 – April 15 (additional hours available)

Location: Remote; must be based in the Philippines

Requirements: Secure internet, private workspace, strict confidentiality
