Job Description
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns for expatriate employees
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations
- Maintain accurate expatriate tax data and statutory reports
- Coordinate with internal teams and external tax partners
- Support payroll audits with documentation and analysis
- Monitor changes in expatriate tax laws and best practices
- Implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
- Handle manual payroll inputs and reconciliations
- Provide expatriate data to external tax service providers
- Manage tax equalization funding and approval processes
The Successful Applicant
A successful US Payroll Tax Analyst should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in payroll or expatriate taxation
- Handled multistate US payroll tax
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn new systems and tools
- Experience with Workday, AssignmentPro, or Alteryx is a plus
- Familiarity with expatriate tax processes and automation tools
