• Scrub new accounts for data accuracy.
• Ensure electronic claims are sent through the clearinghouse.
• Check and re-bill rejected claims.
• Print and mail paper claims with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Bill primary and secondary claims.
• New accounts are scrubbed (all data is verified and confirmed that it is entered correctly)
• All claims are scrubbed to (ensure codes and # units are billed correctly)
• Electronic claims are batched and sent through the clearinghouse
• Rejected claims are checked, corrected and re-billed
• Paper claims are printed, along with any additional documentation and mailed
• Un-billable claims are sent back to FD with notes (regarding what is needed and that once received back, corrected claims are billed)

• Knowledgeable in medical coding and experienced with healthcare billing systems
• Must have experience working for US hospitals or Private Doctor Practice, PT clinic experience is a plus!
• Proficient in both written and verbal English
