ConnectOS is seeking a US Audit Senior to lead fieldwork from the Philippines with a focus on audits, reviews, and compilations in line with US GAAP/GAAS. The role reports to engagement leadership and involves preparing workpapers, financial statements, and adjusting entries.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring engagements run on time and within budget, and leveraging advanced Excel and reporting tools. WFH arrangements and competitive compensation are offered.

Schedule: Mon - Fri (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM PHT)

What are we looking for?

The Audit Senior is responsible for performing audit, review, and compilation procedures; preparing workpapers and financial statements; and assisting with the supervision of staff accountants. This role serves as a primary fieldwork leader and helps ensure engagements are completed efficiently and accurately.

Skills Required:

• 4+ years of work experience as a Senior Auditor

• Strong problem solving -efficiently identify root cause of accounting discrepancy and develop corrective action recommendations.

• Demonstrate and apply understanding of:

• Review financial statements and footnotes.
• Advanced Excel Skills - Uses dynamic formulas and data modeling for analysis.
• Financial Reporting Tools - Utilizes tools to create dashboards and visualizations.
• Workflow & Automation Tools - Uses or helps implement automated workflows to improve efficiency.
• Better understanding of CoPilot/AI usage and compliance protocols.

What will you do?

Engagement Execution

• Perform audit, review, and compilation procedures in accordance with firm methodology and professional standards.
• Prepare thorough and accurate audit workpapers, account analyses, and support documentation.
• Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and internal control testing and clearly document results in supported workpaper.
• Communicate audit findings to engagement leadership.
• Assist in drafting financial statements and related disclosures.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries and audit recommendations.

Client Service

• Coordinate requests for information and ensure timely receipt of client documentation.
• Maintain professional client relationships throughout engagements.
• Assist in addressing client accounting and reporting questions.

Staff Development

• Train and mentor staff accountants and interns.
• Delegate assignments and monitor progress.
• Review basic staff work and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist with onboarding and technical training initiatives.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Meet engagement deadlines and budget expectations.
• Maintain accurate time tracking and project documentation.
• Stay current on accounting and auditing standards.
