Job summary

Sorren Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Assurance Associate on a full-time basis in Metro Manila.

You will learn and perform assurance procedures, assess compliance, verify information, and complete audit work papers and financial reporting for various engagements. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, excel at time management, and demonstrate analytical thinking with attention to detail.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn and complete assurance procedures according to guidelines and firm procedures.
• Assess compliance by examining, analyzing, and verifying financial accounts, fixed assets and inventories, payrolls or cash accounts, grant program costs, records, reports, and related instruments.
• Verify information by comparing and analyzing items to documentation.
• Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings.
• Communicate audit progress and findings to the project manager.
• Complete financial reporting for all types of engagements, including financial statements, management letters, governance letters and management representation letters.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing assignments on a timely basis.
