Job summary

Sorren Philippines, Inc. is seeking an organized Tax Administrative professional to support daily tax operations. Responsibilities include document intake, processing in SurePrep, and coordinating with multiple offices to ensure timely engagement letters and returns.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist tax operations manager to ensure daily tasks are completed.
  • Serve as overflow for other tax admins and maintain cross-office communication.
  • Manage intake: scan, download, organize documents and obtain signed engagement letters.
  • Upload documents to SurePrep and manage SafeSend communications.
  • Prepare and send engagement letters and organizers as directed.
  • Assemble tax returns and support overflow across offices.
  • Communicate deadlines to clients and ensure timely signatures.
  • E-file and monitor extensions, manage rejections and due dates.
  • Review client documents and return items; prepare mailings as needed.
  • Generate statutory reports and roll forward returns as required.

Job description

Tax Admin Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Works with tax operations manager to ensure tasks are getting done daily.
  • Serves as overflow for other tax admins at other offices and helps keep communication between other offices open.
  • Helps with the intake process by scanning as needed, downloading documents, moving documents to correct folders, ensuring a signed engagement letter is received and if not sending one to the client to obtain signature and initiating tasks.
  • Will also upload documents to SurePrep.
  • Batch send out entity and individual engagement letters through SafeSend after tax department head finalizes and with direction from the tax operation manager.
  • To be sent out in November.
  • Batch send out individual organizers through SafeSend in December with direction from the tax operation manager.
  • Assemble tax returns for the Meridian office, help with overflow from other offices.
  • Communicate deadlines with clients to ensure signatures are obtained in a timely manner.
  • E-file and extend returns, monitor for rejections, update task’s due dates and complete task when accepted.
  • Review shelves with clients documents and make sure they are returned to the client.
  • Prepare mailings as needed.
  • Generate reports for statutory due dates for returns that need extending and send to project managers.
  • Roll forward returns as needed to extend or upload to SurePrep.
  • Help maintain taxadmin email box to make sure it is being cleared out daily.
  • Communicate with clients and be a resource for them when they have questions, specifically with SafeSend.
Tax Administrative Qualifications:
