Job summary

BG&E Engineers is seeking an Urban Civil Designer to join our team in the Philippines. The role focuses on urban civil design, BIM coordination, and collaboration across international projects, with a strong emphasis on Revit-based workflows and ISO BIM standards.

You will work on road geometry, earthworks, drainage, and infrastructure modelling, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality design deliverables.

Qualifications

• Proficient with urban civil design standards and BIM workflows.
• Experience with road, drainage and site development design.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 and BIM coordination processes.
• Strong communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Road geometry: urban, arterial, highways, rail access roads.
• Bulk and detailed earthworks planning and modelling.
• Stormwater drainage and hydrologic analysis.
• Sewer and water infrastructure design and coordination.
• Pavement design and modelling for large projects.
• Run model coordination and clash detection using industry tools.
• Model exports/imports including IFC mappings.
• Model QA to ensure project standards compliance.

Job description

We have a great opportunity for a Urban Civil Designer at BG&E Engineers. If you want to be part of something great and join a well-established and supportive Team, this is the place for you!
Our office is based in Mall of Asia and provide support to our 17 offices around the world. We work on major building structures. Anything from schools, hospitals, data centres, high rise residential and commercial towers, you name it, we do it.
We're 100% revit and cloud based.

Job Responsibilities

• Road geometry (urban, arterial, highways, rail access roads)
• Bulk and detailed earthworks
• Stormwater drainage and hydrologic analysis
• Sewer and water infrastructure
• Pavement design and modelling
• Mine infrastructure, access roads, ROM pads, dams, and rail formations
• Run model coordination and clash detection processes using industry-standard tools.
• Perform model exports/imports across various formats including IFC mapping.
• Conduct model QA and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Use client-side BIM review tools (e.g. Revizto) to manage and close coordination issues.

Qualifications

• Expert in Design software (e.g. Civil 3D, 12D, openroads)
• Experience with Australian infrastructure or building projects.
• Understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM standards.
• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g. Dynamo, Python, or similar).
• International experience is compulsory (preferably Australian or NZ).
