Job summary

DSV Road GmbH is seeking a Unix IT Specialist to help automate scripting, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and review code for end-to-end infrastructure projects. The role covers both traditional VM 3-tier setups and container-based microservice architectures across public and private clouds.

You will work within a Scrum framework and handle lifecycle, patch, and configuration management tasks. The ideal candidate has strong Linux expertise (RHEL/SLES), experience with Ansible and Kubernetes,

Qualifications

• Good scripting skills in one or more of the following: Ansible, Ansible modules in Python, Ansible Tower, Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and Git/Gitflow or similar branching models.
• Linux at IT specialist level (RHEL or SLES) and container workloads experience.
• Experience with cloud IaaS (Azure, GCP, OpenStack).
• Basic networking (TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalling).
• Encryption and authentication protocols (PKI, SSL/TLS, LDAP, OIDC, SAML).
• Database knowledge (SQL, document-oriented, key-value).
• Familiarity with web servers and tooling (Apache, Nginx, HAProxy); Atlassian Stack, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes.
