Position Summary

The Underwriting Support Staff works directly with the underwriting team to provide essential administrative and operational support. This includes managing routine and repetitive tasks like data entry, basic research, and making policy changes as instructed. The role is designed to streamline workflows and is ideal for entry-level candidates, allowing the underwriting team to focus on core activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative and Operational Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the underwriting team.
  • Documentation Assessment and Data Entry: Assess photo and appraisal documentation for jewelry/watch schedules. Enter appraisal information into BriteCo's proprietary pricing software.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients regarding insufficient documentation.
  • Policy Adjustments: Adjust insured limits and grant extensions to customers as instructed by the underwriters.
