Job summary

Cedar Network and Data Solution is seeking junior and senior bookkeepers/accountants to join our finance team supporting UK-based clients. The role covers bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general accounting tasks, with opportunities for development across levels.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, finance administration, or a related role is preferred.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and develop accounting skills.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Xero and QuickBooks experience is highly preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Good Excel/Microsoft Office skills.
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial and accounting records.
• Record and process invoices, expenses, payments, receipts, and other transactions.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Review financial records and identify discrepancies or missing information.
• Assist with month-end and routine accounting activities.
• Maintain organised financial documentation.
• Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets.
• Support UK-based clients with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping requirements.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding financial information and outstanding requirements.
