Job summary

The Citco Group Limited seeks a Senior Business Analyst to join the Governance Services team in Manila. You will analyze complex business systems, document requirements, and work with Project Managers and IT to drive initiatives, including automation and process improvements.

Responsibilities include leading requirements sessions, creating detailed specifications, supporting testing, and ensuring successful deployment across business and IT teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience gathering and documenting business requirements, preferably in finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Oracle EBS SSRS, SharePoint, BO, SQL Reporting Services, Qlik Sense and ERP systems desirable.
• Familiarity with automation technologies (BPM/RPA) and workflow automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication and teamwork.

Working with our Governance Services team, you will work with multinationals, corporates and private clients to provide critical support that helps them meet the increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a background in IT and / or Business Analysis and will possess the ability to learn quickly the business operations and the supporting applications or tools. The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with the Project Manager and the relevant business contacts to gather and document specifications, communicate requirements to all project stakeholders, participate in testing, and lead the implementation of initiatives (this may involve support from Group IT for some of the larger projects). The role will be both technical and business oriented, as such requirements gathering can be system driven or business operationally driven. The Senior Business Analyst is also responsible for assisting the PMO and supporting the delivery of the various initiatives within the Citco Corporate Solutions (‘C2S’) division.

The Senior Business Analyst reports to the C2S PMO Project Manager based in Manila.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business systems, processes, and/or operations to identify areas for improvement and apply automation where applicable;
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to produce comprehensive requirements;
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed initiatives;
• Gather and document business requirements, tracking the project tasks, dependencies and overall progress using Confluence;
• Produce detailed specifications for existing and new operational procedures, and related system functionality. The specifications should help the development of related IT applications, business operational processes and/or reports for the business teams;
• Creating functional requirements in use cases, coordinating requirements walkthrough and sign-offs;
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement technical solutions;
• Participate in the testing process with business teams for new and/or improved IT solutions;
• Drive the actual implementation of assigned initiatives, collaborating closely with IT and business teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of the identified solutions. Create and maintain process maps, workflows, and other documentation, as required;
• Handling any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences, IT or equivalent;
• 5+ years of work experience gathering, reviewing, and documenting business requirements preferably within the Financial Sector;
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with the following applications/tools desirable: JIRA, Confluence, Oracle EBS SSRS, SharePoint, Business Objects, SQL Reporting Services, Qlik Sense, and ERP Solutions.
• Familiarity with automation technologies and concepts (e.g., Tibco BPM/RPA, workflow automation)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Flexibility in work schedule according to project and business needs.
