Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of experience as Tire Technician or similar role.
• NC II in Automotive Servicing or related certification is an advantage.
• Experience with heavy trucks, construction vehicles or heavy equipment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with tire repair, mounting/dismounting, vulcanizing, rotation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires on company vehicles including mixer trucks and heavy equipment.
• Install, remove, mount and dismount tires.
• Repair, vulcanize, patch and perform basic tire maintenance.
• Check tire pressure, tread depth and overall condition for wear or damage.
• Rotate tires and recommend replacements when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of tire usage, repairs and replacements.
• Assist in identifying tire-related problems and advise corrective action.
• Ensure proper storage and safe handling of tires and related equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe tire service/work area.
• Use tire tools, compressors, jacks, changers and related equipment safely.
• Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance on tire requirements and vehicle concerns.
