Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Manila is seeking an Associate to support Treasury and Business Finance (TBF) in Asia. The role focuses on closing the month-end General Ledger, ensuring accuracy of P&L and balance sheet impacts for the assigned product groups, and improving upstream/downstream processes.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Accountancy or Business, familiarity with US-GAAP/IAS, and exposure to automation tools (VBA, Python, Tableau, Alteryx).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Business; professional qualification (CPA/CFA/CMA) advantageous.
• Knowledge of US-GAAP/IAS beneficial.
• Strong investigation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and close month-end General Ledger for product accounts and entities within SLA.
• Investigate and clear exceptions/break items with Revenue Control, Operations and Transaction Accounting teams.
• Ensure MAFA and FOBO reconciliations are clean and address aged breaks with clear ownership.
• Standardize methodologies and outputs across processes.
