Job summary

Sun Life Financial is seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join the finance team in payroll and reporting duties. You will manage payroll processes, generate reports, and support system enhancements for distribution activities.

A strong candidate will have a finance/Accounting background, analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel. The role involves preparing payroll and tax reports, collaborating with advisors, and contributing to UAT for process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Assist in administering payroll and benefits for advisors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and analyze payroll reports to support disbursements.
Compile and analyze advisor withholding tax reports, ensuring reconciliation with source documents and the general ledger.
Generate and process ad hoc reports (Advisor's Clearance, Advisor's Certificate, Branch Fund).
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects and system enhancements.
Handle inquiries from advisors and stakeholders professionally.
