IDGC is seeking a Treasury Officer in the Philippines to manage daily cash, liquidity, and treasury operations. You will forecast cash needs, optimize idle cash, and oversee payouts while liaising with banks and payment gateways to ensure secure, efficient financing for business operations.
The role emphasizes building robust controls, reducing risk, and driving digital wallet adoption across vendors and clients to improve settlement timelines and reporting.
The Treasury Officer is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company's cash flow, liquidity, and treasury operations. This role ensures the timely processing of payments, fund transfers, bank reconciliations, cash positioning, and gateway funding while maintaining adequate liquidity to support business operations. In high-volume environments, the Treasury Officer plays a key role in safeguarding the company's cash flow by ensuring accurate treasury execution, supporting financial controls, and collaborating with internal teams and banking partners to maintain efficient, compliant, and reliable treasury operations.
Monitor daily cash balances and customer withdrawal volumes. Forecast short-term and long-term cash needs to ensure all operational bank accounts and payment gateways are adequately funded with a comfortable coverage buffer.
Review corporate wallet balances regularly and execute cash sweeps, moving excess idle cash into time deposits or yield-bearing accounts to optimize returns on the company's assets.
Manage the outflow of cash by authorizing and releasing physical checks and digital/API batch payouts.
Lead ongoing initiatives to modernize the treasury function, actively transitioning vendors, partners, and high-value clients from physical payment methods to online fund transfers and digital wallets.
Serve as the primary point of contact for banking partners and global payment gateway providers. Resolve settlement issues swiftly, negotiate fees, and maintain healthy relationships to ensure seamless daily operations.
Proactively identify financial risks, including stranded cash, delayed settlements, or foreign exchange exposure, escalating and resolving these issues before they impact the customer experience or the bottom line.
Track daily beginning and ending cash balances, ensuring all activities comply with internal policies. Provide accurate liquidity data to the FP&A team and senior management to support rolling cash flow models (such as a 13-week cash flow forecast).
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
Professional designations such as a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are highly valued.
Solid experience in Treasury, Corporate Banking, Cash Management, or a similar high-volume operational finance role.
Familiarity with digital-first industries (like fintech, e-commerce, or online gaming) and global payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Skrill, local bank APIs, or crypto settlements) is highly beneficial.
A deep, practical understanding of corporate financial controls and Segregation of Duties (SoD). Uncompromising integrity and precision are non-negotiable.
Comfortable navigating banking portals, ERP systems, and working with large data sets in financial modeling tools to manage daily cash flows.
Proactive, analytical, and capable of translating complex financial data or settlement issues into clear terms for executives and external partners.
