Job Summary
The Treasury Manager is responsible for managing FNG's cash flow, liquidity, investments, and financial risk to ensure the company maintains a healthy financial position. This role involves overseeing daily treasury operations, optimizing banking relationships, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and providing strategic recommendations to improve cash management and funding strategies.
Functional Duties & Responsibilities
Cash & Liquidity Management
- Monitor daily cash position and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
- Forecast short‑term and long‑term cash flows to support business requirements.
- Optimize working capital by managing accounts payable, receivable, and inventory cycles.
Banking & Financial Relationships
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Negotiate banking fees, credit facilities, and investment terms.
- Oversee bank account administration, signatories, and access controls.
Investment & Debt Management
- Evaluate and manage short‑term and long‑term investment opportunities.
- Monitor debt obligations, interest payments, and compliance with loan covenants.
- Develop strategies to minimize financing costs and maximize returns.
Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks related to foreign exchange, interest rates, and liquidity.
- Implement appropriate hedging or risk management strategies when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
Treasury Operations & Reporting
- Oversee daily treasury transactions, including fund transfers, payments, and receipts.
- Prepare regular cash flow and treasury performance reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, tax requirements, and corporate governance standards.
