A leading thrift bank is seeking a Treasury Officer responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing the efficient utilization of bank funds. The position requires expertise in liquidity management and experience in treasury functions to maximize yield effectively.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible in assessing, monitoring, planning and managing the efficient utilization of the Bank’s funds to maximize yield.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible in monitoring and managing liquidity requirements of the Bank which includes:
a. Monitoring and reconciliation of daily Depository Bank and BSP balances.
b. Monitoring of Deposit Liability and its movement.
c. Monitoring Reserve Requirements.
2. Responsible in trade executions with the BSP and Interbank Call Loan (IBCL) Reporting.
3. In-charge of negotiating new and renewals for credit facilities with counterparty banks or the Financial Institutions.
4. Recommends through the Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) the Bank’s deposit rate.
5. Upload daily buying and selling of foreign exchange rates in SavePlus.
6. Monitoring of Government Securities position Mark-to-Market.
7. Transact with depository banks and other financial institutions for the disposition of placements.
8. Service cash requirements of branches and ATM loading.
9. In-charge of Periodic Reports for Daily Cash Position, ALCO/liquidity report and Monthly Treasury Reports to the BSP and PDIC.
10. Perform duties and responsibilities required under the latest manual of operations pertaining to the position.
11. Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
Education Graduate of any four (4) year degree course in Management, Economics, Accountancy or any Business-related courses.
Experience Minimum of 2 years-experience in Treasury
Preferably BAP Treasury Certified Professional
Preferably Certified Fixed Income Market Salesman
