Job summary

Outsourced is seeking a Treasury Associate for remote work in the Philippines. The role handles payment processing, cash movements, banking coordination, and reconciliations, with night shifts from 9PM to 6AM PHT. Equipment will be provided by the company to enable operations from home.

You will verify instructions, maintain logs, and collaborate with banks and teams to ensure accurate and timely payments while upholding internal controls.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, validate, and process payments for fund transactions, distributions, redemptions, invoices, and other business activities.
• Verify payment instructions, banking details, authorizations, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor bank cut-off times, currency deadlines, and funding requirements for timely processing.
• Assist with beneficiary bank account setup, banking templates, and wire instruction maintenance.
• Maintain payment logs, transaction records, treasury checklists, and reconciliation documentation.
• Investigate and elevate payment discrepancies or potential control issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams, banks, and custodians to resolve payment-related queries.
• Support treasury system testing, process improvements, and onboarding of new clients.

Job Purpose

The Treasury Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day treasury operations, including payment processing, cash movements, banking coordination, and treasury reconciliations. The role ensures that payment instructions are accurate, properly authorized, and processed within required timelines while maintaining strong documentation and compliance with internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Must-Haves

• Treasury or payment operations experience - Hands-on experience processing payments, managing cash movements, or supporting day-to-day treasury activities.
• Payment validation and banking knowledge - Ability to verify payment instructions, bank details, authorizations, and supporting documents accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and controls - Experience maintaining transaction records, following established procedures, identifying discrepancies, and escalating issues appropriately.
• Reconciliation and organizational skills - Ability to maintain accurate payment logs, perform basic reconciliations, manage deadlines, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves

• Fund administration experience - Exposure to investment funds, redemptions, distributions, investor transactions, or fund-related cash movements.
• Banking and wire transfer experience - Familiarity with beneficiary setup, wire instructions, multiple currencies, bank cut-off times, and international payments.
• Treasury systems and process improvement - Experience using treasury or banking platforms, participating in system testing, or supporting workflow automation.
• Audit and compliance exposure - Experience maintaining audit-ready documentation and working with internal controls in a regulated financial services environment

Work Setup: Remote

Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed

Must work Night Shift from 9PM to 6AM PHT
